Step-by-Step: How to Measure Your Nail Size at Home

1. Measure at the widest point — place your tape or paper strip across the widest part of your nail plate (not the skin). This is usually just above the cuticle.
2. Record in millimetres — measure each finger individually. Your dominant hand may be slightly larger.
3. Match to our size chart — use the measurements to find your size in our sizing guide. Most sets include sizes 0–9 or XS–XL.
4. When between sizes, size up — a slightly wider nail can be filed down at the edges. A nail that's too narrow cannot be adjusted.
5. Do a dry fit first — before applying any adhesive, lay all nails out and check the fit on each finger. Swap sizes as needed.

• Wide nail beds: Measure carefully — don't be tempted to go smaller for a slimmer look. It will lift. File the sides gently after application instead.
